Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was mostly pleasant. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, although some had issues with mould and leakage. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was not in use during my visit. The service was helpful and polite, although there were some limitations. The location was convenient for exploring surrounding towns, and the dining experience left something to be desired. Overall, a decent stay with a few drawbacks.
The hotel offers comfortable and clean rooms for both adults and children, with friendly staff providing a helpful service. The location, though decorated to a high standard, may feel a bit too Spartan for some but is ideal for events in the area. The dining experience, while initially lacking, improved considerably, and the facilities, including a large swimming pool and wide food selection, enhance the overall stay.
The hotel is set in its own grounds and seems in need of repair and updating but is ideal for exploring Wiltshire and the Cotswolds. The rooms could use a refresh, as they felt a bit stale and woody, and we even had to change rooms due to mold on the walls and leakage. The service was excellent; the staff made us feel at home right away and provided valuable local tips. The dining experience was disappointing with limited options, and the young staff were slow to tidy up. Overall, the location and friendly service were the highlights, but the rooms and dining need improvement.
